so did pretty good with solar flare, but trying to avoid playing the same deck everyweek...so for next week ima be working on both a mid range uw blade deck and possibly a GRx midrange or GBW rock.

Creatures: 11
2 Geist of saint flame
3 blade splicer
2 sun titan
1 phantsmal image
3 snapcaster mage

planeswalkers: 3
2 Gideon Jura

spells: 21
2 oblivian ring
2 dismember
3 swords of feast and famine
2 timely reinforcements
4 mana leak
1 dissapate
4 ponder
1 batterskull
2 day of judgement

Land: 25
4 seacrome coast
4 glacial fortress
1 moorland haunt
4 inkmost nexus
6 islands
6 plains

SB: 15
2 timely reinforcements
1 dismember
2 revoke exsistence
3 celesital purge
1 oblivian ring
2 dissapate
2 asure mage
1 sword of war and peace
1 day of judgement

anyways, this is where ima start this week in placetesting, couple notes at first:

1) 26 lands might be better, but i want to try off with 25

2) consecrated sphinx / phantasmal image might need to be included / increased

anyways let me know your thoughts

This is the first Snap Blade list that looks like it doesn't just die without a sword! Haha

That being said, I still think Think Twice is a better card than Ponder. What do you think?

i think i might accually turn the ponders into probes, getting to see their hand is nice in both knowing what to mana leak, when to equip to max/min blowouts. think twice is a good card though and im not ruling it out but it isn't the top card on my list for this kinda of deck.

midnight haunting is another card that might warrent some testing or a place in the MB

Probes? Seems like an interesting choice. Let me know what you find out regarding them. Midnight Haunting is really cool in these kinds of decks. I suggested it to Tyler for his UW list and he seems to be liking it a lot! From what I have seen, it does a lot of work. Flying is really good right now.

Very similiar to the deck im running, I found out that running Moorland Haunt is kinda useless cause in this deck you do not get many creatures in your graveyard and kinda exiling potential Sun Titan reanimation targets also i would go 2 Midnight Haunting instead of Timely Reinforcements just because of the evasion (flying).
