Re: Grixis Control!
its a good deck, has problems vs. control decks, threat light and burn doesn't quiet make it to 20 dmg alot of the time. vs. aggro tho the deck is sweet. also has a really hard time beating thrun unless you get BSZ for 4....
Re: Grixis Control!
I will agree. Thrun is the big baddie against Grixis decks. Although, your "control deck" was my Burning Vengeance deck, so I am not sure if it is an accurate portrayal of your over-all control match up. The deck looks pretty cool, and I am liking both versions. However, the Chandra version seems a bit more....potent. With the ability to instantly kill anyone with a Chandra on board is a really cool trick!
Re: Grixis Control!
Hmm, just a quick question for y'all. What do you guys think about something like Act of Treason in Grixis control? It's not too expensive manawise and it would give another push towards the finish (say, after a loss in the counter war and the opponent lands a fattie).

Re: Grixis Control!
treson effects are really only good if your swinging for the win, just to hit for some dmg is cool, but overall not worth it. if you really want a card to steal stuff for in matches use that 6 mana one that lets you take a permenant...i can't recall it's name.
